My Brother

I want to pray for all those that are on drugs or have an addiction of some kind. I pray for you and I know that God watches over you. I know that he gives your family the love, strength and support to help you survive this thing that has a hold on your life. My brother is an addict. My brother...My brother is an addict......I remember when we were in high school; he had so much going for him. He excelled in sports and he overcame a bad grade to graduate from high school. Matter of fact; it was a failed typing grade that almost stopped him from graduating. But, my brother overcame that and persevered through that challenging summer and graduated. But, little did I know his life would change soon thereafter.

I remember us laughing, playing and dancing in the house all the time....Just having a good time until the "lies" came and over took my brother mind and soul. He has been lying now for 30 years to feed his addiction. I knew my brother before he succumb to this addiction that has taken over his body. The young man I knew cared about his appearance. He wanted the best out of life. He wants the best out of life now, but this addiction has got a strong hold on him. The man I know now doesn't care about any of this but his next fix. He will tell a lie at a drop of a dime. After my family and I have cried many years over my brother and his addiction.....I don't have anymore tears..I ask God for comfort and to steer my brother in the right direction so that one day his addiction is no more.

I hope and pray that all who is going through an addiction of some kind find comfort and peace to overcome their battle. I pray that your loved ones find strength to help you through.

Communication

Do you believe like I do that communication is the key to happiness? I observe the world around me...family, acquaintances, work place and world events. I believe that communication starts in the home. No matter where you live on this beautiful planet communication is the key to all things wonderful. A person that grew up in the home where communicating with one another is important ...that person has a total different out look on life. Have you ever notice that? These people make great CEO's, doctors, lawyers, educators, etc...Everybody wants to be around them and get to know them. If you notice they are very successful people too. A marriage that is built on communication is also a marriage that will last forever. A family that is built on communication is also a family that love, honor and trust will last a life time. If this was a communicating world there would be no wars and no hunger. Think about it...Communication is the key to survival!

Your Born Passion

Each one of us on this earth was born to do a specific job. It was built in our DNA by the creator. Have you ever wondered why some people on this earth is so happy with their job or passion? It's because they didn't stray away from the passion that was laid out in their DNA. They are doing just exactly what they were born to do and they are so happy.  They are in great health and they seem to have not a worry in the world. 

We were all born with this inside. If you watch a child at play and the very thing that they love most is the very thing that they were born to do. Case in point..My daughter always loved Science from the day she was born. She told me when she was about two years old that she was going to be a doctor. She never gravitated to anything else. Her passion is science. She has a Biology degree and a Minor in Chemistry.  Have you ever notice a child who is "naturally" gifted in sports? Have you ever notice a child who is "naturally" gifted in academics? They are all naturally gifted because it is in there DNA.

I believe the people that have followed their gifted DNA trait are the happiest people on planet earth. The ones that did not follow their gifted passion and who got side tracked and in jobs that demean their worth are the ones that are the most sad. Their health is affected, mind, body and soul just fall apart. If you are happy with what you are doing it seems to me that you are a FREE person....Not caged. If you don't enjoy what you're doing ...You are not a FREE person. You are caged by your own body struggling to be FREE. ---------------If you are caged...Set your mind, body and soul FREE! After all it's your DNA!
